First off:
I feel touched by how much response I’ve gotten even though I’ve not been gone for that long. I appreciate everyone who took the time to read and respond to my work. It means a lot.
But also, holy shit is that daunting. Some of you write full on essays in the replies, I am worried I’ll have to stay up all night when I finally get around to clicking it.
I said I was going to be gone to study, and in many ways I have. In other ways, I have been playing video games whilst thinking about how I should really get around to studying. BUT, I did do some studying. So I got some ideas for articles:
- Intraconsciousness, a new way to examine human memory.
2. The Legend of Sisyphus, and how it relates to existentialism. (And yes, I know Camus did this as well, but obviously I won’t just copy his conclusions.)
3. Scientific Consequentialism: Is it enough to be right, if you do not do the right thing?
4. War In the New Millennium: What precisely can autonomous weapons do, that soldiers can’t? The answer may surprise you.
Not sure when I get back, but I am letting these ones marinate a bit.
(And no, before you ask, I did not play a video game about robotic warfare. I’m not a hack.)
