Pretty much, I suppose I just wanted to offer some optimism. These places have been scarred by imperialism and colonialism, and it's easy to not see the potential that all human beings have. Once upon a time, India were a bunch of rag tag warlords too, thousands of years ago. But then they built a great and prosperous civilisation. I think Europe has a similar destiny, even if there are growing pains.
