No, that's not my point, in fact it's a bizarre reduction of my point. The great leap forward was an attempt to mitigate the already ongoing cycle of famines which had existed since British colonial rule, and it failed. It was a tragedy, but pretending as if the Chinese did it to themselves is absurd. I was referring to how liberal historians will frequently blame atrocities carried out by the Japanese empire and Nazi Germany on their respective victims in the east. This is in part because of how the US/UK aided and abetted the Axis powers in the Munich agreement, which cost some 30 million innocent people their lives. Also, I apologise about the snipe. I didn't realise it would upset you so much, being a crybaby isn't part of my national character so I'm not used to dealing with that kind of crowd.
