No I'm not, because I don't use the same etymological basis. For one thing, I think there's good and evil. Critical theory is grounded in Fabian eugenics, where good and evil is a matter of brain chemistry, genetics, habits and mental illnesses.
I reject all models of eugenics, especially those that dabble in morality.
Moreover, critical theory has the purpose of mystifying power by removing the human element from it. I want to do the opposite.
And furthermore, I reject the idea that power is grounded in personal agency. I think that's superstitious thinking. Supposedly my bright complexion makes me magically superior to people with dark complexion, and yet my Romani ancestry somehow cancels it out because of some politically correct blood libel. It's pure nonsense, like some sort of inverse Nazi theory of Aryanism.
I don't think white people are inherently or essentially more powerful than black people. I think that's nonsense superstitions made up by the same academic institutions who are now, in this day and age, spouting off about critical theory.
