Actually China is more democratic because it is set up of a multi tier system of membership, delegates and a central committee, all of which are appointed by elections, by-elections, mandate congresses and labour councils. China's majority party has a membership of 95 million people, and anyone can join if they want to.
Moreover, the delegate membership chairs almost 3.000 elected representatives, and is the largest parliamentary body in the world.
Moreover, China is not a one party system and the parliament currently seats 8 different ruling parties, and also 402 independent delegates. The communist party has the majority of seats, but that's mainly because of how they introduced literacy, created industry, ended feudalism, introduced universal suffrage, and built schools and hospitals that was previously reserved for the nobility and the British colonial aristocracy who filled the nation with poverty, opium and child slavery.
And on that note, they also abolished child slavery.
China is a 10.000 year old civilisation, who had written language and philosophy whilst British people were still living in caves.
